If, like us, you love a good behind-the-scenes backstory, then look no further than Dangerous Men. Released in 2005, it manages to look like it was shot in the 1970s. That’s because it was. And the 80s. And the 90s.  Yes, this film has been twenty-six years in the making. (That’s even longer than Linklater’s Boyhood, right??) The labour of love belonging to Iranian filmmaker John S Rad he moved to the U.S. in 1979 to complete his dream.

Dangerous Men’s lead Mina witnesses her boyfriend’s murder so she decides that if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Yes she picks up the bloodied knife and starts slaughtering the fuckbois of LA.

The dub is off, the acting is wooden and the blood is heavier than Miss Jackson on her first day period. It’s amazing obvs. And we’re giving you a chance to win a copy!
