Hey Coco, are you looking forward to London?
Im really looking forward to London. It’s one of the places I’ve always dreamed of visiting even as a child. Being able to perform there will be life changing. As well as the show, I’m looking forward to experiencing the sites, the food and the culture. I’m extremely excited about this experience.
Will you be seeing Janet at the O2 the night before?
I haven’t decided yet. I’ve seen the show in the US five times already but I can never get enough of Janet Jackson I admire her on and off stage.
What did you make of the Super Bowl deleting Janet from its montage?
I wasn’t pleased, I expressed my concern by sending the officials an email. She’s an icon and should be respected as such.
What are your thoughts on the queens in Season 8?
I’m very excited for Season 8. I’m constantly reminding fans that they should support them all, even if they aren’t their particular favorite because it takes a lot to film that TV show. There’s a lot about each contest you’ll miss out on if you don’t take the time to get to see them live. You shouldn’t just form your opinions on what the producers allow you to see.
Who are you rooting for?
I’m actually rooting for several. I’ve been in the business twenty plus years so I know a great deal of them personally.Derrick Barry is in this season. He is a very close friend of mine, someone I’ve had the pleasure of working with in Las Vegas for several years and we’ve toured as a duo for a few years now. I am close friends with Alexis Mateo from Season 3. She is my bestie. We worked several years together in Orlando, Florida, Walt Disney Entertainment stage shows and parades. So there are many friendships with all girls from past and present seasons that mean a great deal to me.
What is your favourite Mariah Carey song?
I will have to say that performing at the Linq every night, while she performs across the street at Caesar’s Palace is pretty awesome. My favourite song would have to be ‘Vision of Love.’
