Being a Barcelona-based Brit, Loverboy had a clear favourite in last year’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S3 – the spicy but silly sausage Choriza May. What we love even more is that now we get to see her perform in her home country and in our adoptive city this May!

Urban Tales of Drag is a unique show that looks at the relationship between Urban Art and that of drag. Sala 2 of Barcelona’s Apolo will be transformed into a sprawling cityscape with staging and projection with Choriza as MC for the night. Performing alongside her will be other Spanish queens like Jeneva Gina & Acido Gorgona. The show promises to bring together the worlds of Art & Activism. Plus not only will the dolls be taking to the stage but also Translocura will be launching their latest album, Declaration of Privileges.
