One of my personal 2019 highlights was speaking with Megan Louise, frontwoman of eternal fave, Desire. Speaking to me on the eve of her Double Exposure European tour with Chromatics, Megan Louise told me, “I’m wearing head to toe latex and six inch heels. Come sweat with me.” So I hopped on a flight bound directly for Copenhagen, surprised a friend for his birthday and had a wild time at the first night of the Italians Do It Better love-in.

Not only did the band revisit songs from their 2009 debut, but we also had a sneak preview of their 2020 follow up, Escape. Megan Louise has just announced more details including that husband, Johnny Jewel, has produced the project and it’s set to be released later this summer. She also dropped the lead single and title track below.
