Loverboy may have just celebrated our fourth whole year living here in Barcelona, yet this has truly been the first summer that our British-born body has acclimatised to the heat of the beach. We have learned from previous summers that surprisingly it’s not advisable to head down to Platja de Mar Bella at 2pm in the middle of August, forget your sunscreen and sunbathe nude. Who knew?! This year we were down the beach at 8am for three hours every Saturday, letting our body flirt a little with sun first and guess what – it’s worked! #SummerBodyGoals

So while we have been wondering where to show it off, W Barcelona has kindly provided us the perfect location – at their WET® Deck pool terrace which has been opened for exclusive day passes for the very first time. It’s like they knew we were coming!

The WET® Deck pool day passes can be purchased on-site or by email (wet.wbarcelona@whotels.com). The price of a day pass at the Barcelona hotel pool is € 60 / person and includes sun lounger service as well as a welcome cocktail. The outdoor sunsets on WET® Deck are an idyllic plan, not only for music fans, but for all those who want to enjoy the new summer cocktail menu at the WET® Bar or simply relax watching the sun go down from the cabanas on the terrace.

Not only that but chef Carlotta Delicato is serving up a Heatwave at W Barcelona’s FIRE restaurant with their new summer menu. The €45 set menu includes the Amouse Bouche oyster duo, a selection of starters such as the well-known grilled leek and the refreshing watermelon carpaccio, a main dish to choose from such as organic sirloin, wild turbot or the sticky duck rice in the wood-fired oven, a dessert to choose between the apple tatin tart with crème anglaise and vanilla ice cream or the caramelized steamed cheese tart with apricot, two glasses of wine and it also incorporates access to WET Post-meal deck and 3 hours of free parking.
