Why do you think so many of us have a weakness for sports gear? Is it just a gay thing?
Everyone loves a bit of sportswear, it’s unavoidable. Everyone owns something. But we still associate it with the Tough Lad and everyone wants to fuck with a thug. I know a lot of gay guys who say it reminds them of getting their first boners at gym class in silky shorts.

When did your fetish for sportswear begin?
See above, his name was Malachy.

Do you have a favourite sport when it comes to the uniform/material?
There’s something to be found in them all. I like working with leather more than anything so I’ll always zone in on a piece with leather detail. Although my favourite thing of all is being given something to work with. A lot of guys have donated kit. I like the randomness of what I get. I love the challenge of it.

How would you describe what you do?
I take sportswear apart and rebuild it as armour. It’s made for Fucking or Fighting, either way – it’s built for war.

What made you first think of it?
I was fucking this guy and he reached over the bed and started sniffing one of my sweaty trainers off the floor. It was hot – it was hot that he was really into it. That’s what made me make the first mask.

Any other uniforms you’re thinking of working with in the future? 
Not right now, there’s so much to cover with sportswear, I’m more than happy where I am. I’ve only scratched the surface.

Can you tell us anything about your models?
They’re all fucking hot! I can tell you that 😉 I find the guys through Instagram mostly. I never shoot the guys’ faces so they always get really into it. Being anonymous can be so powerful. Who would you most like to see wearing Sports Militia?
I’d like to see Sagat fuck Rhianna, both of them wearing it.

What do you have planned for Sports Militia in 2017?
I wanna collaborate with as many other artists as possible, you just never know where it’s gonna end up, I love that. There’s a couple in the works I’m already really excited about….
