Loverboy is going on the record as saying that Skunk Anansie were truly the band of our youth. They were there when we recognised a fellow outsider on the cover of Paranoid & Sunburnt, aged 14. They were then when we blasted ‘Yes It’s Fucking Political’ to our parents on many a family road trip, aged 15. They were then when we ran away to Portsmouth for the night to see them play on the Post Orgasmic Chill Tour, aged 19.

But most importantly also they continue to help us create important new memories. Seeing them with our gay brethren at Brixton Academy in 2012 or with our new chosen family in our now adoptive city of Barcelona in 2021. The last time we saw them, the band seemed to play harder than ever, playing the hits and some of our favourite rareities and newer releases. And now Skin, Cass, Ace & Mark are heading back out on the road again for the Skunk Anansie UK Tour 2025.

Next year they will be playing fourteen dates across the UK beginning at London’s Roundhouse on 29th March. The band play on through to April 15th when they play Guildford’s G Live.

Skin says, “We are really excited to be getting back on tour, doing what we love the most which is playing live with fire in our belly. This tour will be a completely brand new production and we can’t wait to share it with the UK.”
