Ufff….the second that bassline hits, you know it’s over. COBRAH has launched her attack, her vemom coarsing through our veins and soon we’ll be left a blessed and bloody mess on the dancefloor.

‘Record Deal‘ is yes, the new single from the Swedish, S&M-obsessed serpent, COBRAH, out now via Big Beat Records. The track is described as a cautionary tale of being ‘a new age pop star’, but COBRAH has under her spell and feeling our fantasy.

“What it means to be a pop star these days has all of these different layers” says COBRAH. “There’s this sex appeal of getting a record deal, and it can be so life altering and yet so underwhelming at the same time. What looks glamorous from the outside can also feel like a trap. There’s a strong ambiguity in the journey of trying to make it to the top.”
