2019 was the year Loverboy re-discovered Reddit. Yes, we’ve spent the last twelve months getting wild with fellow Redditors about the perfect glute bridge for anterior pelvic tilt, the best counter for the Legendary Dialga and whether that bump in our ass is a genital wart or just a haemorrhoid. The most active community however has been the one trying to predict the lineup for Primavera Sound 2020.

Would it be as female-centric and rainbow-filled as 2019? Would our eternal crush Bad Bunny really be coming to be the headliner of our dreams? Will we achieve summer body goals in time to pull out the spandex?!

Today we can answer two of those three questions with a resounding ‘yes’, as the line up dropped around 11am this morning to a very happy world…and Reddit community! Last year’s line up was basically an unofficial(!) Global Gay Pride 2019 filled with pop, rainbows, glitter and we. ate. it. up. Primavera Sound 2020, however, looks set to be musically richer with artists as diverse as Massive Attack, Bad Gyal, Big Freedia and The Strokes all making appearances.

Some artists we have waited twenty years to see (Massive Attack), others we discovered and consequently adored in 2019 (Caroline Polachek, Maggie Rogers, Kim Petras, Jenny Hval) while other names, like Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio aka Bad Bunny we have had marked on our ‘NEED TO SEE’ list for long enough.

Our unexpected highlight last year was the Dance Area and it looks like we’ll be back there this year for Honey Dijon, Floating Points, Disclosure, Bicep and more. Plus we’ll get to reunite with our babes Desire!
