Besides Glitter, Erotica and One Night Only: Barbra Streisand and Quartet at The Village Vanguard, Jack Peñate’s Everything Is New is one of our favourite albums…of all time. This was in part, thanks to Paul Epworth‘s incredible job on production. You’ll also know his work from Adele’s ‘Skyfall to tunes with Rihanna, Sia, Florence + The Machine. and Bloc Party. When we spoke with Mashrou’ Leila recently, Hamed told us Paul is on his ‘To Work With…’ list. We can only dream of that collaboration. Suffice to say, his work is iconic.

But for now he is gearing up for the release of a brand new project, having recently dropped the first track ‘Voyager’. Giving us Moroder, Horsemeat Disco, Daft Punk vibes it’s a late contender for track of the summer giving us exactly eight minutes and nineteen seconds of intergalactic disco. Paul says, “I was looking to find a hypnotic and slow-moving ambience that I imagine the journey into the cosmos would feel like, with a few surprises along the way.” Get into it below…
