Spanish indie-rock duo Hinds have just blessed us with the next single from their upcoming album, VIVA HINDS. The track, ‘Superstar‘ is about that all too familiar feeling of being ghosted. The slow burner of a song builds and builds, like that creeping feeling of paranoia until you enter the full-on breakdown phase.

“’Superstar’ talks about the disappointment and the pain you feel when someone you love deeply, disappears with no explanation,” says Hinds. “You feel worthless, you start thinking you never really knew that person and you question your shared past, and if what you remember really happened. It’s hard to let people go but writing this song helped. People need closure, and this song is ours.”

‘Superstar’ is accompanied by the self-directed video which along with ‘Coffee’, ‘En Forma’ and ‘Boom Boom Back’ will all appear on VIVA HINDS which is released 6th September.
