Last week Alison Goldfrapp announced the release of her debut solo album and this week, it’s been confirmed that she will be marking the event by joining the stellar line-up at this year’s Primavera Sound festival.
Alison shared her first single, ‘So Hard So Hot’ last week and revealed that her debut, The Love Invention, would drop 12th May via Skint Records. “I wanted to do something that had that very clubby, acid-y feeling to it. But I wanted lightness to come out of the chorus – there’s tension there, as well as euphoric freedom,” says Alison.
Joining Alison as a new addition to the bill is the Iranian-Dutch disruptor artist, Sevdaliza. After catching her recent show at London’s Printworks, we cannot wait to see her back at Primavera this year.
