It’s a little known secret, but there is one failsafe way of getting into Loverboy’s pants – by being a dancer. Yes, if you have the moves we are helpless. So as if crushing on the handsome Michael Snipe Jr. wasn’t enough, we then find out he’s a ballet dancer AND he even references one of our favourite musical numbers. It’s too bad he’s happily married.
How long have you been a dancer?
I started dancing in high school. 1993. So for a little over 20 years.
What made you first want to get into it?
I saw it as a way out of Baltimore City. Dance has allowed me to travel the world.
What different types of dancing do you do?
Mostly just classical ballet and modern, but I’ve been trained in it all.
Which is your preferred?
Ballet. Everything is beautiful at the ballet.
When did you last cry?
I lost my mom back in 2002, and sometimes I hear songs that remind me of her. I always have a good cry when that happens.
What do you never leave house without?
My iPhone. I’ve kind of grown dependent. It’s my map, my phone book, my notepad…I use it for everything.
What’s the ‘weirdest thing’ you find hot in a guy?
The way they dance. You can tell a lot about a guy by the way he moves. It doesn’t even have to be good. It’s all about their confidence.
Who is your #1 90s pinup?
Tom Cruise. I was obsessed. It’s passed.
Who is your favourite super villain?
The joker. He was always having a great time. He was never really stressed. Just smiling and wreaking havoc.
What is your favourite Mariah Carey song?
I loved old school Mariah. Emotions was my favorite. The way she just laughed after hitting those whistle notes…I was always so impressed.
