Italians Do It Better drop new videos from After Dark 3

Mariah may be trying to persuade us that Christmastime is in the air, but we are still living out our spooky, Italo, neo-noir Halloween fantasy with Italians Do It Better‘s compilation After Dark 3.

The album is ripe with spooky, atmospheric, dramatic disco, courtesy of Chromatics, Orion, our chosen family Desire and head honcho himself, Johnny Jewel.

Since the release of After Dark 3, the label has been steadily feeding us only the most vivid of visuals and voila, we have them all here at your disposal.

First up is Desire with their take on Book of Love’s 1986 anthem, ‘Boy’.

Last week the label dropped two more videos from MOTHERMARY & Double Mixte who have contributed the tarot temazo, ‘Tirage En Croix.’ Thomas Mann from Double Mixte tells us, ‘The song is named after the French fortune telling technique where the past, present and future all collide. Using the Marseille deck, four tarot cards form a cross. In this story, neither the fortune teller nor the listener on the other end of the telephone truly know where they land in this game of chance.”

MOTHERMARY are bringing the Renaissance Rebirth with ‘Resurrection.’ The band say, ‘Resurrection is our version of the story of Selene, the Moon goddess in Greek mythology. She finds herself in love with a mortal she can’t help but visit every night. Their relationship strained…by his own mortality and natural barriers of the night…tempts her love to choose eternal sleep so that they may resurrect their love every evening.’
