EXCLUSIVE: Inclusion by Franck Glenisson

Here at Loverboy, Franck Glenisson is becoming a bit of a regular. Last year we obsessed over his Amour shoot and now he’s returned with Inclusion. We talk to Franck to find out more.

Can you tell me about the influence or story within your latest story Inclusion?
It refers to the « Inclusion Rider ». Inclusion rider is a stipulation that actors and actresses can demand to have inserted into their contracts, which would require a certain visibility of minorities among a film’s cast and crew. Inclusion riders must be imposed in the fashion industry! Some fashion brands should be ashamed of erasing minorities in their advertising! Fashion must be a reflect of our society!

How did you come to work with Bruno?
I discovered him in Tommy Hilfiger campaign. I follow his music band on Instagram, @aklinkai. When I saw that snow was coming on France, I booked him directly for this fashion editorial.

Is there ever any sort of music you like to listen to when shooting?
Only the scream of Bruno’s guitar for this shoot in middle of the snowy woods.

Were you actually out in the woods for these shots?
We walked long hours until nightfall to get lost in the French woods, play guitar & tear up the night

Do you have any stories from shooting Inclusion?
Definitely, the ‘shirtless rock star’ look is not the most comfortable to ride in the snow with a guitar!
