Someone we are super excited about this summer is Anish Kumar. He dropped single ‘Hummingbird‘ earlier year and we’ve had it on loop ever since. We’re still trying to work out where all the samples are from, but it’s been the soundtrack to so many nights already, it’s so uplifting, familiar but also new. Now he’s just dropped his Postcards EP which featured three other tracks which are just as big and bouncy. Joyous!

Kumar’s recent DJ performance at London’s Earth, part of the South Asian-focused festival ‘Dialled In’, exemplified his unique abilities when he surprised a sold-out crowd with an impeccable set, alerting audiences to his rising talent. With DJ performances so far including a breakout set at BBCR1’s Big Weekend and forthcoming at Four Tet’s curated All-Dayer At London’s Finsbury Park, Kumar has undeniably strong co-signs from all echelons of dance music.
