Let’s see….we’ve been a member of her fanclub since we were 11. We’ve been to see her on Top of The Pops and CD:UK. We have a ‘Fly Like A Bird’ Grammys 2005 tattoo. We have spoken to her on the phone. Something we made is hanging in her twins’ nursery. We are flying to Vegas for her show this Summer. Christ, we even named the magazine after one of her songs. However we are still yet to meet the goddess that is Mariah Carey.
Perhaps we need to take a leaf out of Cesare Polini‘s book. He has been a crazy fan of Kylie since ’87 and now she rocks up on HIS doorstep to take him out for lunch. We can only dream of Mariah doing the same. In the meantime here’s more about Chez…

What do you do for a living?
I am a personal shopper. I’m training to be a tattooist too. I’ve done it as a hobby for a while and now I wanna take it to the next level. I’m also writing a lot at the moment.

Do you ever do celebrity styling?
I did choose a Balmain look that ended up in Kylie’s ‘Kiss Me Once’ tour book and the screen visuals. I’ve done Muse for the Brits a while ago. Jeremy Piven, ASAP Rocky. I got a few things together for Lindsay Lohan. Erm… I did all of Russell Brand’s Christmas shopping for him. Does that count?

Have you ever lied to a client and said something looks good when it didn’t?
I’d like to think I have more integrity than that. I have sometimes looked back at things and thought ‘What was I thinking?’ Mainly about my own wears though!

Who are your favourite designers?
I love Givenchy. It’s dark and let’s me look how I like, with a nod back to my teenage goth days. Alexander McQueen, more the MCQ line actually. It’s got a cool 50s Rockabilly look which I love. Mr Start in Shoreditch for tailoring.

What is the most expensive thing in your closet?
I have a pair of JW Anderson boots that were £1900 and everyone hates them except me. That makes me love them more though. Most expensive thing is probably a coat. I have a costume national mole skin from New York which was £4000.

Which of your past looks are you most embarrassed by?
I had a few dodgy ones. Probably when I met Green Day as a teenager. I had my hair died pink at the tips and had it styled like Jane’s Addiction in loads of little ponies!!! No. I don’t have a photo! Haha.

Can you tell us about your friendship with Kylie? Did it start off with stalking? Maybe there’s hope for us and Mariah…
Haha. I have love love LOVED Kylie since ’87. I was working for Vivienne Westwood when I moved to London 10 years ago and met her then. I ended up with some friends in common like William Baker and Princess Julia. It was all very organic. I was cast in her ‘Timebomb’ video (she bumps into me and I drop all my shit at the start. The she’s pulling at my vest in the night club scene later). I was in a pretty bad road accident last year, she saw on Twitter what had happened, then tweeted that she hoped I was feeling better before rocking up and taking me out for lunch to cheer me up. She’s an absolute legend. So easy to be around and a heart of gold. I LOVE YOU KYLIE.

Are you working with her on anything else anytime soon?
I’ve been looking at some stuff to send over to Tom and William for the upcoming shows in June and just some ideas. I used to work for Joseph in Chelsea, I’d pick stuff I knew she was going to buy and make bets with the other staff. I was never wrong.

Who is your favourite supervillain?
I used to love Lady Death! Chaos comics. I was a massive geek. Still am. Comic books rule.

Who do you Instagram creep?
My boyfriend Ray. He likes to edit his posts all the time. I think it’s really cute. #ChezRay

What is the weirdest thing you find hot in a guy?
Well, um. I quite like bad skin. Is that weird? I dunno. I think pockmarks are cute. Shoot me.

What is your favourite Mariah track?
Haha. Well, I don’t actually like Mariah but my boyfriend has a framed Rolling Stone Mariah cover! I taught myself how to play ‘Beautiful’ on guitar for him. So that’s my favourite Mariah track.
