Tickets are now onsale for Sónar 2022…officially! While we’ve been surviving with our JBL speaker and some cañas down at Barceloneta beach this summer, June next year will be a definite upgrade as Sónar returns to Barcelona….por fin!

Loverboy is in total need of long afternoons drifting in an out of experimental, electronic and energised performances at Sónar By Day before going in for the kill at Sónar By Night and partying till we drop. Both are major musical moments of the year that work as the best place to discover new acts and also see some of your firmly-established faves.

Weekend/Day tickets go onsale today and Sónar have announced a further twenty-two names as part of the line-up. Some of the incredible names so far are Serpentwithfeet, Jayda G, Kiddy Smile & Octo Octa. Personally we have been waiting patiently throughout the whole of 2020 and 2021 to finally see one of our only recently-discovered artists The Blessed Madonna, so we are psyched to be seeing her for the first time. Also we cannot wait to witness the event that is Tarta Relena take to the stage again – we saw the experimental Catalan folk-duo perform this year and it was everything – who knows what they will be doing in another twelve months.

Sónar 2022 is 16th, 17th & 18th June, with Sonar By Day will take place as always in Fira Barcelona – and the last time we were there was last week getting our vaccine – so we cannot wait to create some new memories with that venue! Meanwhile Sonar By Night will be at Fira Gran Via L’Hospitalet – the industrial, concrete block that is perfect for all types of techno and electronic music in genera.
