Having appeared in our very first issue of Loverboy, we consider Munroe Bergdorf to be family at this point and we could not be prouder of everything she is achieving and all the conversations she is bringing to the table.
Next up, she joins JD Sports for their In The Duffle Bag: Upfront podcast to discuss her life, her journey and how even if you think you have no one in your life – you can always rely on yourself. Discussing her time at an all boys school, she says, “I was being bullied relentlessly, being locked in cupboards, being beaten up, being punched. I didn’t have anyone, honestly, I had no one. I think this is why a lot of people are like, ‘Where do you get your strength from?’ I think when you had no one and nothing, then you lift yourself up and know how to give yourself self-love, you know how to be there for yourself in a way that a lot of people don’t.”
